Project Details

Description

The Old Norse Emotion Network brings together fifteen leading international scholars to consider fundamental questions about how we can, and should, approach the study of emotion in Old Norse sources, and to shape the future directions of this emerging field. The network will hold three workshops across 2024-6, two in Oxford (at St Hilda's College) and one in Reykjavík (at the University of Iceland).

The network is directed by Dr Evans (PI) and Dr Brynja Þorgeirsdóttir of the University of Iceland (Co-I).

The network is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
