Abstract
Novel and computationally efficient method for optimization of microwave structures is presented. The technique is based on the adjustments of the design specifications and exploits the coarse model - computationally cheap representation of the structure being optimized, e.g., equivalent circuit. It is demonstrated that the proposed approach allows rapid design improvement while being simple to implement. Limitations and modifications of the technique are also discussed.
