Gas‐Phase Reactions of M+ and [CpM]+ (M = Fe, Co, Ni) with 1,3,5‐Trisilacyclohexane: First Evidence for the Formation of 1,3,5‐Trisilabenzene

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Preferential elimination of HD in the gasphase reactions of [CpM]+, M = Fe, Co, Ni, with deuterated trisilacyclohexane 1 points to the formation of trisilabenzene, previously unknown, as a ligand. The results of collision experiments also support the formation of 2 (deuterated) in these reactions. (Figure Presented.)
