Abstract

Heilsulæsi hefur fram til þessa verið lýst sem hæfni
einstaklinga til að afla sér upplýsinga, skilja þær og nýta til
eflingar á eigin heilsu. Hugtakið hefur hlotið aukna athygli
á Íslandi á undanförnum árum og verið í deiglunni erlendis í
nokkra áratugi.
