Abstract

In the framework of the European ACTS programme, the AMUSE project aims to develop, specify, implement and trial advanced multimedia services using an end-to-end ATM infrastructure based on different types of access network technologies. This paper presents a summary of the first trial of AMUSE being operated in 1996 in Munich, Germany, giving both details on the realisation of the trial and on results of the service usage evaluation.
