Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

The social construction of health, illness, and healing has been a central theme in medical sociology. Rooted in the notion that perceptions about reality are embedded in social context and to an extent socially produced, this perspective seeks to understand health, illness, and healing as social phenomena.
