Abstract

VHDL is a hardware description language for developing very high speed integrated circuits (VHSIC). It has become an International IEEE Standard Specification Language (IEEE 1076-1993) for Describing Digital Hardware. A Formal Language for the specification of design, simulation of performance and an interface to hardware detail design tools.
