This talk is about study that is part of a broader study examining the implementation and enactment of Iceland’s new Legislation on the integration of services for children's well-being from a broad perspective; at the policy, municipal, and individual levels, within schools, leisure, and welfare institutions.

The main theme of the Gelyda conference, Education, Youth Work, and the Well-being og Children and Young People, aligns perfectly with recent Icelandic legislation on integrated services for children. This legislation mandates coordination and dialogue between community sectors, institutions, professions, and staff to address urgent challenges in the lives of children and youth.
